This sounds like a lot of money to me. I was able to buy a brand-new TP600
battery on eBay for USD 86 last month. Even with shipping and v.a.t., it's
still way cheaper than GBP 170.
Some people have their original batteries reconditioned; I'm not sure
whether its worthwile, but it's likey to be much cheaper than buying a new
battery.
