Greetings,
I am finally getting around to trying to upgrade my trusty old TP560x
to Windows 98.
The problem I am having is that I don't have a bood disk that's
capable of giving me access to the external/PCMCIA CDROM. (This is the
IBM 20x CDROM drive).
I need to be able to boot and access the CD so that I can install
Win98 off the CD.
I tried various things with the IBMTPCD.SYS in the config.sys and some
other things with the autoexec.bat, but I haven't had much luck, I
must not be getting it just right.
So, I'm wondering, can anyone who has done this share their simple
config.sys/autoexec.bat that will work for this hardware? The IBM site
wasn't much help.
Thanks,
Esmail
