I have a Thinkpad 770 with Windows 98. The fax software that came with it
is RingCentral 4.40.119. When I send a multi page fax, the first page
always gets through and then the call is usually dropped. Sometimes
another page or two goes through, but the call is always dropped after a
few pages. Anyone know a solution to this problem? I tried looking at the
RingCentral web site, but could not find any answers or updates. Anyone
know how to get an updated version of RingCentral? I tried looking at
IBM's web site, but couldn't find anything. Or do you know of good
(hopefully free) fax software that will work with the mwave modem. I tried
installing faxworks voice which came with my old 760, but it didn't work.
