They're wrong! Every 750 series Thinkpad uses exactly the same Kingston DRAM
memory, the KTM-750.
They were available in 8MB, 16MB and 32MB, and were a universal fit througout
the series. Were I you, I would return that card and have Kingston replace with
the correct one. Of course, a better option would be to return it for a refund
due to it's being the incorrect part and buy a replacement on eBay for around
$50!
As Bruce pointed out, you can get that card to work on your system by turning
off the Parity check in BIOS.
