This is the program that you need to format and partition the larger
hard drive.
DriveGuide (version 1.03.61c) - 479 KB
IBM DriveGuide Easy Installation Software that provides
step-by-step installation instructions to help you install IBM IDE
hard disk drives. DriveGuide allows older systems to use higher
capacity drives, including drives with capacities greater than
32GB.
Download this program and it will create a boot diskette containing
DriveGuide and the necessary system files.
DriveGuide (version 1.03.61c) is available for download from here.
http://www.storage.ibm.com/techsup/hddtech/welcome.htm
Scroll down and you will find DriveGuide (version 1.03.61c).
Good luck.
