Not to rain on the parade, but if you look at pricewatch.com you can find
new 3 year warranty IBM 20G disks going for $124+shipping. With prices
like that, 12G for $99+shipping doesn't make a lot of sense to me, except
for the case of needing that size specifically.

Disks are falling at an incredible rate--at least 3% a month, with dips making
some drops even more dramatic. Anything that is "surplus" now means that
it's worth just a fraction of it's original price, so much so that Louie's
is selling
a 12G disk for about 25% less than a disk 50%+ larger. To me, that doesn't
make the 12G disk very appealing.
