When I looked into this a while back, here is what I
found.
OEM labeled drives have no warranty other than that
provided by the OEM you purchased from or your seller
purchased from, if you can even find the OEM. Check
if "OEM" is on the lable to see if you have an OEM
drive.
The Travelstar labeled drives have a three year
warranty.
