Hi there,
The screen of my TP390 is broken. I tried to get an estimate of costs
from IBM UK/-Service Point in Manchester. But they insist on getting the
machine to give you an estimate and that costs about 50£ (75$) and the
costs for the transport/mailing. I saw in this list and on an other
website that a new screen from IBM for a TP240 would be about 1000$,
that would be approximately what this laptop is worth now, I suspect.
Incredibly bad service and choice! Has anybody experience with replacing
a screen of this model? I would appreciate any help!
