I have had tremendous service from 3-Com.. and have the "Lan + Modem
10/100 +56K CBUS T3 Card which is excellent. I expect the Intel would
be just as good, but 3-Com under its many modem disguises has more
experience than any company now solvent in building and supporting
laptop modems.
This newest one reminds me of the XirCom Realport but works a lot
better. It is a separate unit and didn't come as part of my Thinkpad
order. I ordered this one as an upgrade.
