Hello ThinkPad,
Sometimes, I shut down Win2K and things proceed along at a fairly
normal (for Windows) clip. However, there are times when it seems to
get "stuck" for a while with a notation on the screen that it is
"Saving your settings". I am not sure, but I believe this may happen
only at work and not at home. At work, we do have a Win2K Server
sitting on the network, but whatever Ju-Ju is required to "introduce"
my TP to it has never been done.
Any ideas as to how I can speed up Win2K shutdown by not having it
spend *many* seconds doing this settings saving?
Thanks!
Ron.
