Hello,
  I recently upgraded from a TP 560 to a 600. On my 560 I'd been using the
pcmcia slot to boot from a compact flash memory card. I pretty much used
the pcmcia boot option for everything under the sun including installing
operating systems. In the bios settings for the 600 it indicates that It
can boot off the PCMCIA slot, but unfortunately I haven't gotten it to do
so. I set the boot option for PCMCIA as the first device to boot from
without any luck. The card I am booting from works fine as a boot device on
a 560/E/X. Has anyone had any luck booting a 600 off the PCMCIA. Could it
be a bios release issue?
Thanks
Troy
