Hello,

I was looking to upgraded my 600e from 128 Meg. I saw that Best Buy has a
sale
with Rebates on Kingston ValueRam 128 Meg SODIM PC100 SDRAM Memory.
I searched the trusty Thinkpad Mailing List Archives and found it should
work
in my PC66 Machine.

It is Kingston KVR-PC100SO/128R and you get ten dollars off at the register
for a cost of 39.99 then you have to send in for the $15 rebate. Offer ends
07/14/2001.

There is a limit of two rebates so I am thinking of pushing the memory to
the 288 MB max. I checked the 128 Meg module in both sockets and it
works. One thing I found is that it is real easy to latch in the SODIMM
module so it looks ok but is not fully seated. This will result in the
module
not being recognized.

Now if I can only find 64 Meg EDO memory for the 365XD cheap.
