from my one trip inside a 600 series, the cpu was soldered on..
much more difficult than a plug in cpu..
the 390X it appears has a plug in cpu, thus its easy..

for the 600 series, i think i'll revert to my old "not fiscally a good idea"
when better computers are available at the residual value of the replaced
unit plus the anticipated cost of the upgrade..
i.e. a 600 is worth a good $500 plus..
the upgrade would cost $300 more or less and void any remaining warranty..
so, take the $800 add in the warranty value and look for a nice T series
machine..

Cordially, :-)
