Thanks for the explanation, that's what I thought was the case (but
IBM's site scared me).
I don't understand why Crucial even lists 66MHz though, since it
costs more (128Mb for $48.44 at 66Mhz, $39.94 for 100MHz (but if I
navigate their site by ThinkPad model number, it only shows 66MHz).
Crucial's free shipping ends today (and their site claims a $.00
surcharge for Canada, has anyone found that untrue?).
Since I'm limited to 288Mb (2645-51U), it's cheaper to buy two of
the 128 than one 256, or else I could just get one 128 and stay at
224. Will I see a difference between 224 and 288 after I move to
Win2K? For that matter, will I see a significant difference
between 96 and 224?
