i know that someone built such a laptop, but i don't think ibm ever built
such a thinkpad..
not for release in the USA..

IBM might have done so for the japanese market as they DO sell some items
there that never sell elsewhere..
or
it might have been sony or some other japanese manufacturer..

can you take a digital picture..?
