Harry..
the sad fact is that the shelf life of most laptops is, like the general
computer system/component/etc., very very short..
so, for anyone to display a top end thinkpad would raise the ire of their
bean counters..
pricing is so unstable it is amazing that i'm still in business..
to stay alive, one must re-invent one self, almost daily..
thus, few people who don't actually USE a top end thinkpad will keep stock,
without some sort of contract with IBM..
that having been said, i have a few customers in the NYC area and NYC itself
who might be prevailed upon to show off their top end toys.. :-)
when will you be there and for how long..
