I also want to know the answer to this question. I have a 600 with
233mhz P2 and get 2 hours on a brand new battery. A friend has a t20
with 700mhz p3 that goes about 3 hours. But there are so many other
variables so I don't know how much speedstep adds to the increased
battery life. Not that the 700mhz ever gets dropped to 233mhz.
Ofcourse the new .13 micron p3-m are supposed to very low power. I have
a 900mzh t22 on order, now that the t23 are out I'm not sure what to do.
It doesn't help that IBM doesn't offer a T23 between $2,375 and $3,599,
because you know no one wants a computer around $3,200. Ahhhhhhh I want
integrated wireless and 1400x1050 screen but I don't want/need the
1.13Ghz machine.
