IBM's standalone DOS ZAP utility is still available
separately and "ZAP"s the data in the first 128 sectors,
allowing a clean install over any previous installation,
even those troublesome Disk Manager BIOS extender ones --
and I don't believe it is limited to IBM drives.
In the worst case, you only need to have an IBM drive
on the system somewhere, even if it's not the one you
want to ZAP.
