TP 770X with DVD: The right Enhanced Video Card FRU 12J0411 doesn´t work!

Hell again!

For my german ThinkPad 770X with DVD-drive I have bought some weeks ago a
enhanced video card (EVA) with the FRU P/N 12J0411.

I inserted this nice peace but soon at the boot process some jerky sounds out
of
the loudspeakers and system freeze! No chnce to bring it further. No wy!

System: Win98SE, triple boot with Win2000Server and XP. 256MB RAM. 13 GB HD.

Any guys out there that ever herd about such behavior? Any solutions?
