Have been trying to disable a few things in the bios of my IBM 600 ThinkPad.
I found a page on the IBM page that said if I was to enter the bios by
holding the F1 key down and the turning the unit on. This worked and I am
able to get into some basic commands in the Bios. The article also stated
that if I pressed ctla when I was in the basic set-up field I would enter
into an advanced bios and presumably be able to disable select devices. This
has not worked and I am unable to find any more information on the bios
functions.
The reason for doing all of this is that the sound card and com 2 are not
working under xp and it makes sense to just disable some of the components
that I am not using.
Any help will be greatly appreciated
