First of all, I am a Citizen of both Canada and the US, so I am not taking
sides here...
Anyone can post an item for sale on eBay, or anywhere else for that matter.
The seller's choice is to place whatever conditions he wishes on the sale.
The buyer's choice is not to purchase if he doesn't like the conditions.
By the way, the Americans are the ones with the Big Cars and Trucks - the
Canadians on
average drive much smaller cars, due in part to the price of Gas, and in
part to the price
of the cars. Do you realize that a $30K car in the US costs almost $50K in
Canada??
The ones who can afford big cars and trucks, and winters in Florida, etc.,
also leave
millions of dollars in the US. Do you suggest that Florida doesn't want the
money??
