What OS? W98 should see it automatically when you dock, but you might need to
turn it "on" with the configuration utility:

If you're still running W95, there's little hope of getting it to see and use
the USB port. FWIW, the webpage for the replicator:
http://www.pc.ibm.com/qtechinfo/TJEK-3QVT6G.html states that the USB port is not
supported on the 380 and 380ED.
