I have had many problems trouble with non-brand-name EDO memory upgrades on my Thinkpads;
I think there might be something important missing from the 'official' spec.
If you get frustrated I have a 'true blue' IBM 32MB memory module (92G7342) that is not
doing anything right now (it was from a 560X that I upgraded, I like to keep IBM memory
around to slip in for warrantee returns, but none of my machines are in warrantee anymore).
