I've had very good luck with my 560Z. Has traveled with me worldwide,
with nary an issue. Specs: 2640-B0U (W98SE), P2/300, 128MB RAM, 6GB
HDD (thinking about the 20GB user-upgrade). It's as rugged as it is
light, thousands of trips into and out of the briefcase, with regular
exchanges of 100BT, WLAN and Fax/Modem in/out of the PCMCIA. I use a
Silicon Sports "Wetsuit 1.0" neoprene slip-case to cushion the odd
bump. I don't bother carrying the FDD. Just make sure to get all the
BIOS and video card updates, and it seems very solid.
