Excellent. You should have very good luck with the move. The XP system I'm
running now started out as Windows 2000 on a TP600, then moved to a 600E,
then to an A20p, then to an A21p (which doesn't count, since it's the same
hardware as the A20p). It worked perfectly the whole way. Then I upgraded it
to XP and it's continued to run fine.
The only thing I've done is to load the drivers for each machine when I
moved it. Didn't even have to mess with Safe Mode or anything like that.

Oh! Then it's a no-brainer: *definitely* clone the drive. It's cheap
insurance, and this way you'll have an unchanged, good running system in
case something goes wrong with the 600X.
