I think you mentioned that you are using Win2K (sorry, can't remember).
If so, then use 'nslookup 155.155.155.155' to find the DNS
information for that IP. I don't have access to a Win9x box to tell you
whether nslookup works there or not.
Since you think that EVTSS.EXE might be part of the firewall program
itself, try checking the installation media to see if it is one of the
files that get installed. I know this can be a pain if the install
program was a single self-extracting EXE, but there are ZIP tools that
might be able to help you. As you mentioned though, the makers of your
firewall software should be able to easily tell you if that file is
theirs and what it is doing. It is strange that their own firewall is
complaining about their own file though.
