Hello,

I asked the question about the PC Card based USB and Firewire cards
rhetorically because I know there are no USB cards available and doubted
there are any Firewire cards.

I need to conduct some more experiments. I have several 40 Meg Click
pc card drives as well as 64 megabyte CF card with PC adapter. I got
the CF card for the Workpad Z50 as it can use this directly. I was going
to use the Click but there are no drivers for the Z50.

I want to try both the CF card and the Click drive in my older 365x/xd
laptops and an old NEC Win 3.1 laptop. I know my external Zip SCSI
100 Meg drive works with all of them.

I think it is great that Laptops are getting USB ports and Firewire ports
but I still like to have a printer and serial port on the laptop as well.
I still use some software that is dos based and likes to communicate
with devices out of traditional comm one through comm four.
