Hi All
Yesterday I dropped my 570E while running across the road (grr, badly
designed rucksacks, mumble), and now the screen is divided into stripes,
roughly an inch wide, and only every other stripe works (ie. displays
anything). Fortunately, if I connect up an external monitor, it works just
fine.
Has anyone else ever seen this? Does this mean I need to replace the
screen, or do I just have a loose ribbon? Are there any sites that have
instructions for taking Thinkpads apart?
A thousand thanks in a advance for any answers, and apologies if I have
asked any stupid questions in my newbie naivety!
