if it works it works but if it doesn't fit you must acquit..! :-)
i.e. you're not inserting the memory fully into the slot..! maybe..
or
maybe it IS really crappy memory..

IMO memory is not the place you should be trying to save that last nickel..
better to buy cheap tires as when THEY fail, it is really obvious and when
memory fails it can be very subtle yet equally as potentially disastrous and
frustrating.. :-)
