my customer in sacramento got his T30 monday..
so far he is delighted.. says its perfect.. he wants to know how to evaluate
a machine with "no flaws"..
he also likes the touchpad/trackpoint combination saying that this is the
best touch pad he has ever used..

perhaps it took IBM to tame and civilize the touchpad..

FWIW, his serial number is zero..!
there were two shipped last week and one is in IBM for demo and teaching of
the tech support people..

44 more will arrive wednesday (scheduled!) with a backlog of 229 ordered..
i have two more coming out of this bunch and i'm sending one to a friend for
eval.
and then on to a customer who has bought several T20 series.. T21 and two
T23's..

so i won't get to see one for a while as i won't open the third one thats
coming to me..
