go into the bios..
set the boot sequence thus:
1. CD-ROM
2. Floppy
3. HDD
then reinsert the recovery CD into your CD drive and do a hard boot..
let the recovery process run to completion..
it will reboot once or twice..
be sure to remove the CD's when instructed..
