Hi!
I got a planet cardbus 10/100 ethernet adapter for my thinkpad 600 (PII300,
96ram, 5.0 HDD, win2000, type 2645-45U) but there seems to be some problem.
description: The adapter is detected by win2000 and installed as a
realtek8139. Ok. I install the drivers from diskette. Ok. I enter all the
lan parameters, IP, DNS and other stuff. Win 2000 shows connection to local
area network, 10mbit. Ok. But when I try to ping some addres, it shows -
"timed out". Sometimes, eventually the pinged address receives the packet,
but it's eventually. Connection status shows something like this: Sent: 300;
Received: 6.
Cables are o.k.. My other, desktop computer connects ok.
What could be wrong? Maybe it's that the card is 32bit? I have changed the
card to new one, but the same thing.
Thanks for help!
