I had the same problem with a used 600E which came without the
supplementary software CD-ROM.
You can get the GNU freeware FusionSoft DVD player from
http://www.pctip.ch/downloads/dl/20874.asp
(site in German, program itself in English with a few words in
French!!).
I made a more complete post about this program a couple of
weeks ago. The author's web pages do not seem to be accessible
any longer ... but the program works! under Win2k, though I
can't access the help files.
