Hello,

If I remember correctly form my 770Z, first you have to enable this in BIOS
and that you will not be greyed out in ThinkPad Utility. Unfortunately I
cannot check this now because my 770 is on service.
I will confirm this afterwards.

Hope this help,

Gordan

Subject: 770X Display Resolution Problem

I searched through your archives (thanks to finding you through Google) for
anyone having problems using the 800x600 resolution setting on a Thinkpad
770X. At 1024x768, the desktop takes up the whole screen, but at the lower
resolutions, it doesn't make the desktop bigger, it just shrinks it down to
less of the screen. I have downloaded the latest drivers for NT4 from IBM
(4.4053.11), but that doesn't help. Can you direct me to someone who would
know a solution or forward my message to the mailing list? Since it's not
my laptop (it's my boss') I'm not sure that I'd actually benefit from
joining the list because hopefully I won't have to mess with his laptop
again. He is running a program optimized for 800x600 and it just doesn't
look that good on 1024x768 setting.

Thanks for your time!
- Jason
