Decided to take the plunge on the 48GH. Nice piece of kit - even nicer
service (ordered online at 21:27 Thursday, arrived 8:00 Friday - that
was with free three day delivery btw).
I now have the 30GB Hitachi drive that I want to use in the Ultrabay.
The 48GH was shipped (unsurprisingly) without the EMI shield fitted to
the Hitachi. I've now changed this over, so that the 48GH has the
shield.
Anyone know if the Ultrabay adapter comes with a spare EMI shield? I'm
guessing that it doesn't, and the shield doesn't appear to be listed
in the HW maintenance manual. Any one using one without the shield if
it doesn't, or have any thoughts on this matter?
