to fit an X series a drive MUST be 9mm thick..
the usual 12.5mm drive from a 570/600 series will not fit the X20..
the HDD bracket will work in either thinkpad..
it WILL work in the media slice..
pull the drive out of the X20 and leave the bay open, then use the 570 drive
in the media slice with a 2nd HDD adapter..
not sure if you can boot up with the drive on the USB..
T20 does not, A31p does..
are you SURE you want to go through all this for the few days the 570 will
be at easyserve..? :-)
