FWIW, if you find that one box performs abnormally doing the same thing,
I would strongly suspect 1) System settings (swap file mis-managed. 2.
virus activity 3. additional system management settings (ie when 'Active
Desktop' (what a contradiction in terms) was introduced, it caused all
sorts of weird things with different software applications.)
The OS you're running effects this somewhat.
One other thing, I just thought of, go into your display propertys and
LOWER the hardware excelleration, say, one tick at a time, rebooting
each time and see if that has any postive effects.

Thanks, Dave. Rebooting didn't seem to make a difference. I'll try
comparing the T20 with the T21 to see if the T20 is starting up anything
the T21 isn't. Sorry I didn't try that before asking.
