Thanks! I had forgotten all about video acceleration. I have to crunch on something else, so
probably can't try it tonight, but I will definitely give that a try. If I find an answer, I will
definitely report back.

BTW, I always turn off any extra fluff (like Active Desktop) that I can. Other suggestions for
things to turn off are welcome.
