Try turning the brightness down and look for a faint image at a very low intensity. Try hitting FN/F7 several times. Unplug the Hard Drive and re-plug it. Hold F8 down while booting and do a DIR /W in dos, if you can get into dos. Are you in Dos 3.1 or WIN95? Try a bootable floppy.
