        Yep, tried different ISPs since I've tried atleast 5 different
ones that works on every other computer except for that one. It's not a
ISP issue since the DSL connects via Ethernet directly. Reinstall seems
to be the only option but this is one of those Compaq Presario's and the
guy wants all his data and reinstall is always a pain in the you know
where to get all the stuff back in. I remember people had problems with
AOL 7.0 trashing their system a year ago but I never thought it was this
bad... Guess AOL and Microsoft really hate each other.
