ibm does not release these to the public..
public = you and me..
there are other ways to do a low level format..
get drive fitness test frok the ibm storage systems web site..
it will do a low level format..
but i don't think that will really help you as most problems can't be solved
by doing that..
if you DO do it, be sure your drive is up to operating temperature..
what is the problem..
