Hi Chrys,
I dunno if this is the best solution, but personally I tested my video capture card using "Netmeeting" first, before using any capture tool.(not any actual video-conferencing, just in a standalone unconnected mode)
As Netmeeting is pretty much self configured, if U don't see U'r video in it then there's definitely a problem with the drivers. I had some saved links to drivers etc. somewhere. I'll try to hunt them 4 U. Or for the latest update, U can search "mpeg" or "video" in the "Support& Downloads" section at pc.ibm.com
All the best --- Hemant

Subject: 755cd video capture-win95

Has anyone here ever managed to get the video capture on the 755CD to
work under Windows 95 or Windows 98?
I've tried two video programs: Vidcap and VirtualDub. I tried using
the old "enhanced video" drivers for dos/win3.1 but my programs couldn't
detect a driver at all. So I read a suggestion on line somewhere that the
760 driver might work. So I installed that one and "Video for Windows
1.1". Now, my video capture
programs see the driver, but I get a blank window instead of seeing the
video.
I've tried both preview and overlay mode.
I'd really prefer not to have to go back to Windows 3.1
Does anyone have any hints? The magic word? Or a specific capture
program I should try to find?
I bought this Thinkpad second hand, and so I don't have whatever
original capture program came with it.
This is a wonderful feature of this old Thinkpad... if I can get it to
work.
    -Chrys
