I believe they offer a lifetime warranty. Although this might be different on Compact
Flash, I know Kingston offers 5 years on their CF products (and when it comes to
memory, I usually go with either Crucial/Micron or Kingston as a rule).

Depends on what you're going to store on it, so your usage would be cost
effective.

It would be faster than USB, and you would notice a significant difference.
What speed is the network, and what were you planning on transfering? Or just
small files like word documents and small image files (<500KB)?
