It could be that when this machine was being designed the chips for low
power/laptop use were
not available.
But there is FireWire which has been out longer and is reasonably fast. Not
any help if you
already got those USB 2.0 devices 8->.
I was looking for some USB 2.0 Desktop motherboards but may go with
firewire.
I noticed there are some I/O devices that support USB 2.0 and Firewire.
Very interesting review. I would rather have something bigger and heavier
so I can have
a built-in DVD drive and Ultrabay 2000 ports (or is it Ultrabay 2002 or even
Ultrabay 3000
by now? 8->).
