[701C] Error code 93

Continuing the saga of the solid-state hard drive ...

Using a different CompactFlash card in the VME carrier in the
hard drive caddy, attempts to boot just get a flashing
underline on an otherwise black screen. The machine in fact is
frozen (Ctrl-Alt-Del has no effect).

In Easy-Setup > Test > HDD-1

I get the following error:

DEV 017
ERR 93
FRU 6014

Does anybody know what this means?
