oh, its enron..!
about time..!

there ARE many hundreds of thinkpads and accessories..

usually, there will be pictures of each lot, as auction start gets near...

the best hope for bargain seekers is that some of the big buyers will be
overwhelmed with all the merchandise..

the bid for all the 600E's from 3200 thru 3333 will usually go something
like this..
bid will top out at $600 (add 10% or 13%, packing, shipping and handling if
you want one) and some housewife or former employee will walk off with THAT
ONE..
the auctioneer will then offer any number of others at the same bid proce to
however many people want one or fifty.. then they will group them in lots of
ten or whatever..
the bid will then go to maybe $5000 for ten or, even, $7000 for ten..! don't
ask me why, i have seen this happen..

a buyer will either get in with the herd at first or hope that he will get
one or two really cheap when the buyers are filled up to overflowing with
these 600E's..
and for SURE, some will make it to ebay..

those plasma displays are another matter..
if you or anyone intends to buy one, better factor a trip to houston into
the mix..
for me, unless one sells for $100 (and then i would ask myself why!) i won't
spend $5k for something that delicate, that far away and really in unknown
condition..
