The 2102 is on eBay even now, though sometimes you might need to
extract it from something - it's the 2002 that I don't see around
since it was superceded. There was one up for auction last weekend,
that I came close to buying - it didn't get any bids at $130 because
it was inside a carrier for the Toshiba Portege line, and I suspect
people don't know they're as simple to remove as they are.
I was going to swap the drive into my Sony pc card DVD drive, but
decided to experiment with the 2002 in the 600. It fit perfectly and
powered up, but W2K couldn't see it - I suspect because of Sony's pc
card.
