David is correct -and talk of going public was also a good idea to suggest.

Besides the design features, the IBM warranty is a major reason for
purchase. I can hardly believe that IBM would ever want a cloud on their
heralded warranty service on a high end machine. A threat (or promise)to go
public with their unreasonable warranty behavior should shake them up at
marketing levels. These are laptops that WILL get minor spills etc. as they
are moved about.

Remember: A spill is NOT a "offensive or biological hazard" -it is a just
a spill. To say that it is more than just coffee or coke requires some
threshold of decision making. Especially without odor, are all spots
offensive or hazardous now? Indeed, this is just ridiculous.

My tp has spill spots on it now....I was just thinking that it is cleaning
time, and it is either coke or coffee I'm sure...
