If it was Coffee or coke or even faucet water, it could result in Silver
Migration, if there is silver in the area. Connecting silver coated wires
etc. Back in the early 70's, IBM had a cable problem and much testing was
done about the problem of moisture in the area of electrical parts. Since
then, IMHO, IBM has been very touchy about contamination. However, I doubt
if there is a problem with solder unless the vendor is using silver
solder. Very unlikely. You can watch silver migration under a microscope
by placing two silver coated wires closely together, apply a small voltage
to them and put a drop of coke there. It happens in seconds. It looks
like miniature lightning.
