David
I'd be very interested in doing this with my 560X.
Recently as an exercise I tried traveling with just one computer which
meant leaving my HP 200LX palmtop home. The plan was to use the palmtop
emulation on the 560 to get to all my phone numbers, appointments, note
files and such that usually reside on the palmtop. This worked OK except
for on thing. The palmtop is instant on. The 560 (even with WIN98 lite)
is not.
It would be wonderful to be able to set it up to boot to DOS 6.2 from
the PC card when I want to use it as a PDA. It might not be instant on
but I'm sure it would be faster.
I've got a 175 Mb Sandisk card that should hold DOS 6.2.
I'd really like to get a solid state IDE drive to replace the hard disk
but the prices are still around $1000 per Gb.....
Thanks
